HOW THIS ROLE SUPPORTS OUR VISION

By developing strategies to optimize the value of the department, you will apply your business knowledge to oversee and manage the company’s overall supply chain, logistics strategy and operations to maximize the process’ efficiency and productivity. This role is central to our model, to our capability, and to our vision for the future of US apparel manufacturing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This management position is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of 99Degrees’ warehouse and cutting room. This manager oversees our raw materials management from receiving to allocating, warehousing, and cutting to ensure that raw materials are managed and cut according to our production schedule and quality targets. You will also:

Creates, builds, and continuously improves policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient, accurate, and consistent operations.

Ensures that all practices and procedures comply with audit requirements and meet operational standards for production, finance, quality, and safety.

Supports continuous improvement efforts. Manages, coaches, and trains team to advance skills and knowledge and support flow of ideas.

Lead the growth and advancement of our warehouse and inventory management.

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels using weekly cycle counts and end of month and year end physical inventory counts. Oversees monthly physical inventory count. Analyses count and compares results to computerized inventory. Works with Finance to reconcile any differences.

Manages and organizes the warehouse inventory location system. Manages layout and optimizes physical space to maximize usage. Ensures that inventory by location is accurate and updated in real time.

Responsible for growing Cutting Room capacity and capability to support growth.

Collaborates with Planning + Operations teams. Sets and updates the spreading and cutting calendar based on production priorities.

Oversees cutting team. Manages and continuously improves spreading and cutting SOPS so that the cutting team performs against quality, efficiency, production and safety objectives.

And any other related task that the supervisor deems to be necessary.

and have the following qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent
-
3-5 years warehouse experience
-
Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills

Familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Proficient with inventory software, databases and systems

Current forklift license
