COVID-19 Plan
Letter from the CEO
Posted 3.14.2020
Dear 99Degrees Customers and Partners
Over the last few weeks, my leadership team and I have been monitoring the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to doing everything we can to minimize the impact of this illness on our team, community, business, and your supply chain. We have created a plan to mitigate risks to our team as well as to our customers who rely on us for on time product deliveries.
Below is a summary of our plan:
-
Employees who show coronavirus symptoms or who have been exposed to others who show symptoms must stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days and until symptoms subside.
-
We are temporarily transitioning to a 2-shift schedule. This will enable us to reduce the number of employees at our facility at any given time and help to prevent a company-wide impact.
-
We are working to cancel all on-site and off-site meetings for the next 2 weeks in favor of conference calls and video conferencing.
-
We are eliminating all business travel for the next 2 weeks.
-
We have provided our team with facts and best practices to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Our team has given us their commitment to these best practices, including social distancing at home and at work.
-
We are increasing our cleaning schedule and procedures. We are disinfecting our machines and commonly touched areas throughout the day and between shifts.
-
We have introduced mandatory personal protective equipment to help our team refrain from touching their eyes, ears, and mouths.
-
In the case that the spread of COVID-19 results in changes to our regular shipping schedule, we will communicate these changes as soon as we know them. Please communicate your product priorities so we can work to ensure that we're aligned and working toward the same goals.
Thanks for your support and partnership at this time,
Brenna
