We are a US contract manufacturer who produces technical activewear and wearable technologies for the most forward thinking global and high growth brands. We incubate advanced concepts, develop, prototype and sample, and produce in the US with unprecedented speed and agility. HOW THIS ROLE SUPPORTS OUR VISION

99Degrees develops and produces cutting edge technical performance activewear for some of the world’s most forward-thinking brands and technology companies. An efficient, collaborative, and hands on approach is essential to our Made in USA model. This role ensures a streamlined customer experience throughout the development and manufacturing processes. Your knowledge of the apparel development and manufacturing life cycle, combined with strong project management and communication skills will ensure that our new and existing brand partners are expertly on-boarded, seamlessly transitioned from development into production, and that they are aware of key information, timelines, and changes so that their expectations are met and exceeded in every step of our process.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This position is responsible for ensuring a streamlined customer experience throughout the development and manufacturing processes. Your knowledge of the apparel development and manufacturing life cycle, combined with strong project management and communication skills will ensure that our new and existing brand partners are expertly on-boarded, seamlessly transitioned from development into production, and that they are aware of key information, timelines, and changes so that their expectations are met and exceeded in every step of our process.  You will also:

 

  • Manage customer accounts from on-boarding through development and production.

  • Cultivate positive business relationships with customers and business partners.

  • Operate as an advocate for the customer: processes requests, feedback, ideas and expectations, passes them through the appropriate value stream, and reports back promptly with supporting information.

  • Serve as point of contact for customer questions, feedback and concerns.

  • Communicate our process, requirements, terms and conditions, and any changes clearly and proactively in order to manage expectations, prevent surprises, and build trust.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of our process, services, and factory capabilities to lead our customers with confidence.

  • Maintain systems to track information, documentation, changes, questions, and feedback related to products and projects.

  • Employ project management tools and systems to ensure the right people get the right information at the right time.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting and leading process and systems improvements to streamline data flow, improve communication, and meet key deadlines and deliverables.

  • Share customer feedback and perspectives to shape company strategy and decision making.

  • Work to continuously improve our customers’ experience.

  • And any other related task that the supervisor deems to be necessary.

and have the following qualifications:

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3-5 years in the apparel or footwear industries in a customer facing role.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Superior communication skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Exceptional active listening skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Passionate about your role and your company

  • Advanced computer skills: excel, cloud-based project management
